Love It! Read fine print about additional cost!
Posted on 03/18/11 by Theresa from NJ
I ordered the InStyler from the ad on TV. I received my order within 14 days. I did order the Buy One Get One and yes you do pay 3 installments of $39.99 on top of the original $14.99 advertised price (if you read the fine print, of course, on the commercial, it does tell you that if you keep the product after 30 days you'll be making these payments) I received my 2 InStylers for a total cost of about $145 & I love it! I have fine, frizzy hair that I must use a flat iron on to straighten. The InStyler makes things much faster. Not to mention, if you buy this product in stores now, they charge you b/t $130-$160 (depending on the store) for just one of them. I got 2 for this price and gave the 2nd to a friend as a gift, who also loves it!

ok here it is... I like many was skeptical especially with all the junk on tv. but I decided to go on ebay I got 2 for $120 & it came with the lil styling kit.. (I sold the other for $60 to a friend)Does it get extremely hot yes it does.. is it for amateurs who do not know how to straighten hair no. u must section hair (best by scrunchies &/or clips to do each part like they show on tv I start in the back, bottom & work my way up to the top front) anyways it makes noise.. so its not as loud as a blow dryer.. it is on the heavy side as well! u must brush out your hair before you use it & hair should b dry!! it may steam a lil as well. but I think it is 1 of the best products I have ever used, but I still dont think it should be over $50.. the infomercial is the worst place to buy it from... also I have very think curly hair, it makes it really shuny & silky... It sucks for the people who waited forever & whose broke... but if you know what your doing its an awesome product!

 Product Ad Is A Scam
Posted on 11/19/08 by Michelle OConnor from Phoenix, Arizona
This company is a complete scam and should be shut down immediately. My daughter and I saw the ad on television one Saturday and thought "WOW" two for one straighteners! We ordered them and never heard anything from the company until exactly 33 days later after the the so called 30 day free trial had run out. What they fail to tell you when you call in to order is you are actually paying over $140 for these two freaking curling irons and they wait until your trial is over to try and collect their money! I had to make several phone calls and spend over 1/2 hour on hold to even get a supervisor then had to wait another 20 minutes basically threatening them with action from our Arizona States Attorney General before they would allow me to return the items at my cost to wipe out the debt. No time during the commercial or during the phone call was I told the 30 day free trial meant I would be charged $140 at the end of the trial. I thought it was a 30 day trial because it was a new product. The product itself is nice and it works although it could get a little hotter but the company should be shut down. I hope all you who want your money back stick in there and demand it!

Easy To Use With Good Results
Posted on 11/17/08 by Rosie from Tustin, CA
I have very thick, coarse hair. The product gets hot very quickly and I was able to use on towel dried hair. It normally takes me about 30 minutes to straighten my hair now it only takes me 10 to 15 minutes. I can flip my hair outward or inward easily. I can also add body to the top of my head.

Design Flaw Found With The Barrel.
Posted on 11/15/08 by Mimi Phillips from Moorhead, MN
Unless you are abidextrious this will not work. Switching from one side of the head to the other, the revolving barrel will be pushing against the hair cuticle, not smoothing it. It would be a good product to use as a stylist, but not on yourself.

 I Love My In-styler!
Posted on 11/15/08 by Ashley from Nashville
I LOVE my InStyler!! I have long, fine hair, but a lot of it, and the InStyler not only smooths it (without my having to use a hairdryer/round brush-combo Ive been doing for years!), but it does it wet OR dry (a MAJOR time-saver). I usually just comb my hair out, after I get out of the shower, let my InStyler heat up (which takes seconds), and put it in my hair like a curling iron (you dont have to use your second hand, like you do with flat irons). Then, I just take section after section and my hair is smoothed AND dried in five minutes (and it usually takes me at least 20!) I really love this thing!

 This Is A Total Rip-off.
Posted on 11/10/08 by Wendy Jones from SLC UT
I was so disapointed when I tried the InStyler. I have a curling brush that blows hot air and was about $30.00 and it does a much better job in a short time. I worked with the InStyler for about 20 minutes and never got the look I wanted and what they promised me on TV. I followed the directions that were sent in the booklet and it did not work. I was very frustrated and paid a lot of money for this product.

 Deceptive Advertising.

I watched the commercial on TV and saw no mention that in addition to the $14.99 + S&H there were three payments of $39.99.
